NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lawndale Elementary  School District of _Los Angeles  County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the “Owner” or “District”, will receive prior to 11:00 a.m. on January 11, 2023 sealed bids for the award of a Contract for the following:

LAWNDALE WELLNESS AND ACTIVITY CENTER PROJECT, BID NO. 0003-22-23

All bids shall be made and presented only on the forms presented by the Owner.  Bids shall be received in the Office of the Purchasing Department at 4161 W. 147^th St., Lawndale, California 90260 and shall be opened and publicly read aloud virtually on Zoom. Any bids received after the time specified above or after any extensions due to material changes shall be returned unopened.

There will be a mandatory Job Walk at 11:00 a.m. on 12/5/22 at Anderson Elementary School, 4130 W. 154^th St., Lawndale, CA 90260.  Any Contractor bidding on the Project who fails to attend the entire mandatory job walk and conference will be deemed a non-responsive bidder and will have its bid returned unopened.

BID NO. 00012-21-22;  2022 MEASURE L PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AT ADDAMS MIDDLE SCHOOL

All bids shall be made and presented only on the forms presented by the Owner.  Bids shall be received in the Office of the Purchasing Department at 4161 W. 147^th St.,  Lawndale, California 90260 and shall be opened and publicly read aloud via teleconference at the above stated time and place.  Any bids received after the time specified above or after any extensions due to material changes shall be returned unopened.

There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference on May 25, 2022, 9:30 a.m. at Addams Middle School 4535 W. 153^rd Pl., Lawndale, CA 90260.  Any Contractor bidding on the Project who fails to attend the entire mandatory job walk and conference will be deemed a non-responsive bidder and will have its bid returned unopened.

Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code, and be licensed to perform the work called for in the Contract Documents.  The successful bidder must possess a valid and active Class B License at the time of bid and throughout the duration of this Contract.  The Contractor’s California State License number shall be clearly stated on the bidder’s proposal
