Best Resource - Teacher Support Teams!

Thanks to California's new funding system and the LCAP process, additional staff members are now available at school sites to support teachers and their ongoing professional learning. These teacher leaders can provide support that includes: demonstration lessons, co-planning of lessons, assistance in analysis of student data, co-teaching lessons, and collecting data during lessons for reflection.

Videos - Math Instruction

The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and the Hunt Institute have produced a series of videos to enhance understanding of the mathematics that students need to succeed in college, life, and careers. The series also covers the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) Standards for Mathematical Practice and examines why developing conceptual understanding requires a different approach to teaching and learning.
